Technical Support Engineer

We are looking for a proactive and skilled, customer centric Technical Support Engineer to join our PCS (Projects, Consultancy & Support) Department. As a key person you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth support across our IT platform solutions, providing comprehensive operational, functional and partly technical support of our systems and services for our customers. The role requires getting things done in a timely manner, delivering exceptional support with analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments within a time critical environment. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • General

    • Support in- and external projects & implementations

    • Identify areas for improvement

    • Documenting work instructions and processes

  • Customer interactions

    • Conduct refinements

    • Ticket intake, customer support on complex changes (customer change requests) and incidents

    • Assist in communication regarding deployments and upgrades

  • Technical support

    • Advice and work on setting up (API) integrations with 3rd parties (customer- and partner facing)

    • First technical root-cause analyses, via:

      • Logging (Sentry, Homer, AWS Cloudwatch, Grafana);

      • Debugging (custom) code;

      • API tests (Postman).

    • Developing and modifying Lambda functions in collaboration with DevOps Engineers

    • Developing custom components or styling using various programming languages (JavaScript, CSS)

    • Performing application management tasks and configuration of the platform / 3rd party components

    • Assist in deployments

  • Service Desk Support 

    • Contribute to servicedesk activities (JIRA/Confluence) and on-call rota team 

Experience:

  • 2 years of working experience within a customer oriented SaaS IT environment 

  • Familiar with coding, technical and functional implementations

  • Experienced in customer interactions and communication (verbal and written)
